If so - the medicines are calling you and it's time to listen.   Just as training and apprenticeship are essential in every important profession, stepping into the role of a plant medicine guide deserves the same care, dedication, and hands-on experience. This comprehensive apprenticeship program offers you the support, mentorship, and practical training you need to confidently step into this sacred responsibility. Depending on your experience and personal pace, your journey with me will unfold over 12 to 18 months.
 

In this apprenticeship, our goal isn't to shape you into a replica of me. Instead, I guide you to uncover and refine your own natural gifts and strengths, helping you become the healer you're truly meant to be. Alongside this personal growth, you'll also cultivate a deep understanding and reverence for the history and sacred nature of plant medicines.

You’ll also gain practical tools and embodied experience in how to facilitate with plant medicines — including safety, dosage, preparation, integration, trauma-awareness, and ceremonial design — all held in deep reverence for the cultures and traditions these medicines come from

 

The Basics: The most essential step before guiding others is diving deeply into your own healing journey with the plant medicines you feel called to work with. Throughout this program, you will participate in at least one dieta and a minimum of six plant medicine ceremonies directly with me. For most apprentices, we will engage in many more experiences to significantly deepen your relationship with the plants. These practices are intended to help you clearly hear the guidance and support of the plant spirits, strengthening your personal healing and preparing you as a confident guide. Along this path, you'll also discover a powerful truth: the more we learn, the less we realize we truly know, cultivating humility and ongoing curiosity.
 

Mentorship Format:

Phase 1: Building Your Relationship with the Medicine

• Deepen your personal connection and relationship with the plant spirits.

• Understand essential safety protocols and the intersection of science and spirituality behind these powerful medicines.

• Engage directly in monthly ceremonies and dietas, nurturing your personal growth and preparing you to hold space for others.

Phase 2: Apprenticeship in Ceremony Creation

• Learn through direct experience how to hold sacred space and create ceremonies that deeply resonate and facilitate healing.

• Master the nuances of intention-setting, ritual-crafting, and skillfully navigating group dynamics and individual experiences.

• In this stage we encourage work with other facilitators and plant spirits if you feel called ot explore. 

Phase 3: Guided Practice and Leadership

• Step confidently into leading ceremonies, always supported by your mentor.

• Gain hands-on, supervised experience as you begin facilitating, ensuring you feel secure and capable as a guide.

• Bonus:  Learn how to guide people through the practice of microdosing.

This apprenticeship combines personalized one-on-one mentorship with occasional group interactions with other mentees. It’s designed to adapt to your unique pace and path, ensuring not just knowledge acquisition, but deep personal transformation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

• How many ceremonies should I participate in before guiding others?

  • While everyone's journey is unique, participating deeply in your own healing work is essential preparation for guiding others. To illustrate, basic yoga teacher training typically requires 200 hours—equivalent to around 40 ceremonies—and plant medicine work is often more complex. Personally, I completed around 50 ceremonies before even beginning my formal training and apprenticeship. Although everyone’s journey is different, engaging deeply and extensively with the medicines ensures you’re thoroughly prepared and connected.

• Do I need previous experience to join this program?

  • Some prior personal experience with plant medicines is beneficial, but your openness and commitment to learning and personal growth are most important.

• Can I apprentice if I don't live locally?

  • Yes, I offer flexible options for remote mentoring and guidance, though in-person experiences are highly encouraged for the best learning outcomes.

• What kind of ongoing support is available after completing the apprenticeship?

  • You will remain part of our supportive community with access to ongoing mentorship, peer support groups, and opportunities for continued learning and collaboration.

• Is the apprenticeship accredited or certified?

  • Currently, there is no formal accreditation process for plant medicine guides. However, you will receive a certificate of completion and extensive practical training and mentorship.
